Our customers existing kitchen had the original cabinetry modified to have a little flair, but needed better and more storage as well as character added. We set out to remove the cabinets and keep the floor intact.
More cabinets were added to the design, but reusing the appliances, which were still in good condition, helped them keep the budget manageable. With the Kraftmaid cabinets, the customer found a French country feel they were looking for.
Not enough counters and cabinets .....
That's better.
Cooking was difficult with the old configuration.
A range hood and granite countertop gave them a cooking space to work with. The tile backsplash keeps clean up easier.
The feel of a more country, less urban, space was further accented with a farm house sink.
Maximizing the kitchen with a lower wine cabinet and a small step down on the countertop to a desk area at the end, gave our customers more unified, usable space.
