Project: 1st St. Park Slope

These customers in a top floor brownstone walk up wanted this outdated kitchen redone to be a showpiece as soon as you entered the apartment.

The architect kept the footprint layout nearly the same with a few additional feet of countertop space, recessed lights, and custom wine shelves and drawers to match the Ikea cabinets.

After removing this and adding a few details .....

gave them a kitchen to enjoy fully. The suspended vent hood needed extra bracing in the ceiling and gave a beautiful touch and useful utility to these frequent cookers.

The Corian countertops and glass tile backsplash made this clean design a joy to see walking in the front door.
